Palace in the Sky in Tagaytay

Palace in the Sky in Tagaytay! It was a mansion built by ex-president Marcos for Ronald Reagan in the 80’s. The ruins of Marcos country mansion atop the highest mountain in the area is now a public area called “People’s Park“, where visitors can enjoy mountain breezes and spectacular views. This park also had a kiddie playground which all of my kids are really enjoyed a lot on this trip! Viewing Taal Volcano is very clear but very far.

Sky Palace is such a nice place, with a breathtaking view of the city/town below you. You should have mention the trail/way going up the sky palace. When i visited sky palace, there’s a jeep waiting for tourist to take them to the top. But I suggest on just walking. Coz it is more fun. But be careful, it’s like you are being drag or carrying something so heavy. And be sure you only wear flat shoes or rubber shoes.

went in this place 2day, nice place but the palace itself is now abandoned so you can see ruin building but the structure design is well-plannedm wiith entrance fee of 35 pesos / head. there’s a jeepney waiting at the entrance and we decided to walk to see the breath taking views.. highly recommended when you are planning to visit tagaytay.. TWO THUMBS UP… what makes me disappointed is that the philippine government forgotten to priorities such a good place like tagaytay and must develop its tourism, while our neighboring countries needs to build manmade scenic place..

    Hi,

Can anyone of you guys who’ve been here the way to this place from Mahogany (where the best Bulalo according to friends is)? Is it better to view Taal Lake in Picnic Grove or The Palace?

    Thank you.
